National Concert Band Festival

My thanks to all who took part in the NCBF festival on Sunday – the performance went well, gaining a silver award.  It was fantastic to see such a wide age range of players from 7 years old upwards, with the majority of players being 9 – 16 years old.  The standard of performance reflected two weeks of intensive work at YCB and Spectrum band practices and reflects the standard that can be achieved with good attendance and commitment.

Looking forward, we have two concerts – 12^th and 18^th December and a variety of Christmas events. The more you play together the greater the improvement.  Please ensure that you have all the performance and practice dates in your diaries.

Thanks also to those parents who supported in helping with the loading of the coach and those who attended the performance.
